Security Chip won't enable in Windows

#1 Post by kaotic504 » Thu Feb 07, 2008 9:07 pm

Hey guys, i tried a search in the x60 forum but got no answers. i have an X60 Tablet, and the security chip was working just fine one day but now it won't work once Windows loads. I have WinXp loaded on the laptop. I am able to swipe my finger to get past the Supervisor and HardDrive passwords, but it won't work for my Windows password. I am the only User. I've tried to enable this in Windows using the Security Control Center multiple times and each time i set it to enable, it reboots, but it doesn't enable it. it is enabled in the BIOS. any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS in advance!
