Student discount on X61 Tablet?

I am a member of the University of Cincinnati, and our school has a contract with Lenovo because of our DAAP program.

I don't understand though - I've read of people getting these things for $XXXX or $XXXX through student discount direct from lenovo, so how come they are coming up at $XXXX for me?

Am I doing something wrong? Also, I don't even see the SXGA model offered...

Are there any other discounts I can apply to this thing? I'm really trying to get it in the 1200 range, but I just don't know if that's possible...

I know at my University, Lenovo only offers a few models to choose from.
In addition, compared to other computer companies that I can get deals from through my University, Lenovo has the lowest offered discount when I purchase it through the Uni (compared to other laptop brands to get).

If you interested, check out when an ecoupon deal is on and combine it with a sale from Lenovo. A great way to save a bunch of money, could be more than you could get through your Uni.
