Corner of Screen fell off/broke

It's difficult to describe...but the bottommost black piece of plastic on the screen, nearest the edge where the screen folds down and on the corner, has fallen off. I'm left with a hole in the tablet and a small pyramid shaped piece of plastic that fell off. This has now happened on both corners.

I'm very careful with the tablet, its never been dropped. This happened from just regular use.

Has anyone else experienced this? Were you successful gluing it back, or did you send it in for repair?

Haven't heard of that issue yet. Only the bezel separation I've heard of.

Hopefully your laptop is still on warranty and should be a quick fix of the outer plastic.
I wouldn't try to glue it on yourself, just in case you are going to get it fixed, as it might void the warranty.

This problem pops up every now and then in the tabletreview.com X61 forums. It seems like Lenovo was supplied with a bad batch of LCD bezel pieces with bad plastic composition, which causes the corners to crumble. Lenovo is aware of the problem and will replace the bezel. I wouldn't recommend attempting a self-repair as this may void the warranty.
