Hey everyone!

Last night I tried to hook an external monitor to my X61 tablet. I used Fn-F7 Presentation Director to switch from LCD to external monitor. The tablet LCD turned off and my external monitor displayed a black screen. The laptop locked up and I had to power down to reboot.

After it rebooted, the on screen keyboard on the fingerprint/login screen is blank! The blue box is there, but the keys are all gone.

Opening the Tablet PC input panel also shows a blank keyboard.

Everything else seems to work ok on my tablet.

Any Ideas?

Lol, i strongly suspect it is a trival problem. The actual screen keyboard is in virtual land, ie at your external monitor screen. The blue blank keyboard is just an empty dialog box.

Right click on the laptop display and change the property of the display to show BOTH LCD and external screen, then log off and see if the keyboard shows up.
