Finally decided and bought one ....

#1 Post by chocorem » Wed Feb 13, 2008 3:11 pm

I finally bought a X61 Tablet on ebay in the US with delivery to France.

My question is : as I have a spare AC adapter from my T43, is the AC Adapter the same as a T43 ? If not I have to buy one in Europe ...

Thanks in advance

Allowable input voltages for the AC adapter is 100-240V. However be sure to get the right plug adapter, which is swappable to allow the same AC brick to be used with various international wall plugs.

the plus is the standard 3 connectors plug (like on the T43) so I could use the X61 US AC Adapter with my old Wall plug ...

The computer end of the power supply is different on the *60 series. Since the computer end is permanently attached to the brick itself, the only thing you would be able to reuse is the cable between the wall socket and the brick - which isn't very useful.

Your T43 uses 16volts and X61 tablet uses 20volt. A solution to run both would be to get the lenovo slim adapter.
