My x60s is 1705CTO. Is there any way to test whether the display is ultralight or just regular? It seems dark for me.

Parts Lookup page involves no opening display.

I was under the impression that X60s/x61s CTOs don't have ultrabright screens as an option for Canada.

Reading the fineprint on Lenovo site states "Ultrabright screens not available in all configurations and some countries".

They're now with the introduction of CTO models.

Thanks for that. The Lenovo Canada site always seemed rather ... minimalistic in offering additional information on component choice (as opposed to the US site). Again, the Canada Lenovo site only indicates " 12" XGA TFT " without mention of UL for the x61s "build your own" (CTO).

I suppose it would be best to confirm with a CS rep while ordering.

Again, many thanks!
