Intel 1GB Turbo Memory. Should I get it for X61?

#1 Post by ludu35 » Sun Feb 17, 2008 5:58 pm

Hello all X61 owners
I noticed that Intel 1GB Turbo memory selling at good price on Ebay. I really like to get one for my X61, but before doing that I would need some advices from this forum. My X61 currently running Vista Ultimate 64-bit with 4GB ram, 100GB 5400rom drive, NO Broadband card, so my question is:

- Will I get substantial performance after adding that 1GB Turbi memory?
- Any compatible issue with Vista Ultimate 64-bit and Linux?
- How hard to install that module into laptop?

Thank you all for your kind info.

It has very limited benefit. And will not work the way it's meant to in Linux.
