Tablet Mode ghost image using pen

#1 Post by taekwonmg » Sat Feb 23, 2008 7:31 am

I have a X60T. Because at work I must use their approved build image, I have two drives that I swap. My personal drive runs Windows Vista Business with office 2007. All works handsomely. :D The other drive (built by the work folks) runs Windows XP Tablet PC edition with Office 2003. With this configuration, The pen misbehaves; it skips, it shows a double image, and it is jumpy in object selections. :(

I’ve tried installing OneNote 2007 on that system to see if some drivers or functions would be corrected but that still shows the double image when writing, although if I page down and back up, the ghost image goes away.

Any clues on what’s going on and how to get the table feature to work with Windows XP f TPC? :?:

Thanks.

What do you mean by double image? Can you post a picture or explain it a little more?

My writing is not the best but I wrote following words to try to replicate your problem but couldn't:

1.

2.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Can't do screen shot because it corrects itself after a paging activity, but I mean that if you hold two pens in your hand as you write something on paper you would see twin images of your writing. I remember doing that when I was a kid. That is what happens with a single pen.
