Help me: C:\TPHKLOCK.TXT -> 00FFFFF7 ???

One of my friend has an X61 with a strange file in root of c: drive.
C:\TPHKLOCK.TXT

When he deleted, the file generated again after reboot.

The contains is just 00FFFFF7 in lot of lines.

What is this??
Please help!

Don't know what this is, but tphklock.dll is a library for on screen display. TPHK=ThinkPadHotKey.

I just ran into this problem, and this thread is still the first hit on google if you look for TPHKLOCK.TXT so we might as well have the solution here!

This is fixed in the Hotkey Features utility version 2.07.1001
(Fix) A needless log file 'TPHKLOCK.TXT' is created on the root directory of C drive.
get the fix here:
