I had a problem with volume keys on my x61. I have installed everything and it should have worked. Its funny, but all the Fn+Fx combinations worked and the volume keys only gave OSD with the current volume level and did not change anything. On the contrary i could change the volume level in AIMP2 player, but in this case it did not show any OSD.
Finally I could solve the problem with Autohotkey script.
I have compiled two autohotkey executables with this script, so anyone who wants can use it (the package contains executable with two option: with tray icon or without tray icon)
