Keyboard Replacement ... Which Brand

Hello,

wanted to chenge my "qwerty" US keyboard with an "azerty" Fr Keyboard... just see on the lenovo homepage that I have too Brand choices .... Chicony or NMB. Are they any differences beetween the two Brands ?

Different feel and key travel, I would suggest about going with NMB.

RonS did an excellent T60 Keyboard Comparison (with embedded pics). (for T series but you'll get an idea)

Thanks, I just received my NMB Keyboard, on the X61t, I do not notice any difference between the two keyboards ... but at leat I can type in French again !!!

Very good service and price (no delivery cost), direct from Lenovo ... Prices are much higher by reseller and eBay ... don't know why people are buying by these resellers ...

whoo hoo... now I know that both my T60 and X61t came with the NMB one from the get go! I read in several posts about the differences, but without the pics, I didnt know how to tell. I can say that I thoroughly enjoy typing on both machines every day.

I had NMB (czech) - little bit noisy, but now i have ALPS, and it seems to me better.
