I can't find one of these for the X6 series. Anyone know where I can find one? I want to protect this new investment by keeping it in MINT condition.

Search "IBM 12.1 case" or "IBM 12.1 sleeve" and you'll find some nice neoprene cases. I bought one, and it's kept my X61s in great condition :)

As for the example you showed, I am unaware of any product that fits the thinkpad as snugly as the Macbook case you posted.

So NOTHING like this at all?

I'm surprised nothing like this exists for the IBM/Lenovo laptops?! Are Macbooks THAT much more popular than IBM/Lenovo laptops?

Im looking for a nice, simple leather porfolio in black, with fitment kinda like the x61 reserve edition or that macbook one above. It should look like those leather cases used for holding papers.

Ive seen the targus one, but I dont like magnets near my computer. Same with zippers, which leaves out almost 99% of all generic leather/nylon binders. Im thinking it should just be a simple black leather with little more than a few small straps in the corner to hold my laptop...doesnt need to be ultra tight fit because I would like to remove it off the screen to put it into tablet mode.

Anyways, Ive scoured near and far and while I see those briefcases exist for macbooks and stuff, I wonder why we dont get something as elegant for our thinkpads. Im sure there are at least a few people here who use thinkpads for business meetings and presentations!!!!
