I thought you'd be interested to hear a testimony to the survivability of our systems, I know I was impressed.
I'm a second year med student and use an X61t for most of my classwork, as does my classmate Will. This weekend during a study group meeting, another guy knocked a full glass of water (about 20 oz, I'd say) straight into the keyboard of Will's tablet, while it was running (or maybe in standby, I'm not sure). Will pulled the battery, shook the water off the system, and left the X61 in the sun to dry for an hour or two. When he tested it out, it was fine.
I'm not going to take mine out in the rain or anything, but it was nice to see the Thinkpad toughness coming through as advertised.
Regards,
Jeremy
