X61 - Can't find Bluetooth in XP but works with Vista

I just got an x61 with Vista home basic. The bluetooth works fine. I can switch on/off in ThinkVantage.

I installed XP in another partition to have dual systems.
But in XP i can not find it. No bluetooth item in ThinkVantage. In bluetooth places, it says no local bluetooth device detected. In device manager, there is no bluetooth under Network adapters.

I surely downloaded the bluetooth drivers and software from the lenovo support, and installed them.

BTW, i find that in the device manager, there are are 3 devices missing drivers.
SM bus controller
Unknown device
Unknown device

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Look in the Windows directory, then in Drivers, keep drilling down until you find the BT driver. There should be a setup file to run...that should do it. The same will apply to the other flagged items in your hardware list. That will complete the installation process. No guarantee...just my two cents.

Sorry...I missed the fact that you have Vista. I was pointing you to an XP solution.

Obviously you're missing some drivers, have you tried running ThinkVantage System Update to install the required drivers?:

ThinkVantage System Update 3.13.
