Is (1024 X 768) Pixels, good for a 12.1 inch in screen X61.

Since 12.1 inch is a wide screen, then I think 1024 X 768 is not that good, can someone help me in achieving a resolution of 1280 X 800.
Is there anyway in doing this ??

The screen of a X61 has a 4:3 physical aspect ratio. There is no way to get it to display a widescreen resolution, unless you're interested in 1024*640 with black bands on top and bottom of the screen.

1024x768 is the highest resolution for the non-tablet X61 - you are stuck with that.
