X61/X61s OWNERS: Thinking of buying... need your help!

Hello gang:
Just two questions here.
1) Do ALL X61 models come with the external wireless WAN antenna? If not, does X61 part number 7675CTO come with the external wireless WAN antenna?
2) Considering the X61s, is there much of a performance difference between a 1.60GHz C2D processor (L7500) and a 1.80GHz C2D processor (L7700)? Bonus: How will photoshop run with these processors?
THANK YOU!

No, only models sold with a WWAN card installed come with the antenna.

CTO (configure to order) models come with whatever they were ordered with, you can't tell after-the-event from just the CTO configuration designation.
Cheers,

1) what he said
2) photoshop CS3 runs like a dream on my 1.8
but it wouldnt compare, say, to the new penryn chips at 2.6 and such
The whole reason it runs so well at 1.8 is the bus speed

When I ordered my 1.8 it automaticaly upgraded to the ultralight screen as well. So it was definatley worth the extra cost (same price as 1.6 + ultralight). Also I believe the Processor is soldered to the board, so you can't upgrade it.
Also you might get teh fingerprint reader it might be a fun toy, I sorta wish I had purchased one now

You are right, ALL chips mounted on board. If you want to upgrade your CPU, must use new board unless your rework BGA by yourself. But some risk to peel off pad
