Bevel problem status on newly shipped X61Ts?

Anyone here order an X61T after Nov/Dec 2007 and are having the bevel separation problem? It seems that Lenovo claims it's a glue problem, I would have thought just using some Krazy glue would have fixed it for good even it would void the warranty (who the hell opens up that bezel anyway). Since I may be ordering the X61T soon just wanna know if that problem still persists. TIA

I believe Lenovo's manufacturing solution was in fact to add more glue. I haven't had any problems with mine, though I've only had it for a little while. I have heard that the problem is mostly gone now; if it were going to happen at all, it usually happened pretty early on, and it seems that most recent buyers haven't had the problem.

The bezel problem has been solved long ago, I received mine during November and there wasn't any issue on it.

That is excellent to hear! I will wait for the next coupon to come out and will order that model. Do you both have the SXGA+ version? How do you like the laptop? I'm very excited to move from my x41 to the x61T! Regards.
