Hi,
I notice that Vista SP1 isn't being offered as an option under Windows Update. My machine is currently running Windows Vista Ultimate, with all latest drivers according to System and Windows Update.
I understand that the main reason SP1 doesn't appear as an available update is typically that certain outdated drivers prevent it from doing so. Does anyone know specifically which drivers may be holding it back on the X61S?
Thanks,

It won't help that Microsoft is not putting SP1 on the auto download page either for good reason !!!!
Microsoft is not putting it there because of the few businesses that do use Vista might suffer since it (from what I can gather on the internet) stuffs up programs that did work on plain Vista but security 'enhancements' in SP1 stop them running.
If you really need SP1 goto www.microsoft.com/downloads and get it there.
