My concern would be where I have a 22" Widescreen Monitor and it's native resolution is 1680x1050.. what do you do in this instance?

11. Does this product support 1680x1050, and will it support all resolutions (including that one) when the Mac driver is released?

Yes, it will support 1680x1050 resolution, also when the Mac driver is released.
