got this x 61 two months ago. In these 2 months, this laptop gave me a very bad experience, and made me have to recovery it to the factory settings so many times.
now it freezes very often for no reason. and the hard disk LED indicator does not flash in this case. and i have to hard reboot it (by holding the power button).
specs: T7500, 2GB ram, turbo memory card, 120GB 5400RPM hard disk . and i updated the newest driver for the turbo card and BIOS.
any thoughts ?

Did you read the installation instructions carefully?

Intel Turbo Memory Driver for Windows Vista - ThinkPad Reserve Edition, R61, T61, X61, X61s, X61 Tablet, X300

You're required to run two setups to successfully install the drivers, first one unpacks the package a specified location on your HDD and the second one installs the drivers. Most users just run the 1st setup and think the driver is installed.

In addition, run PC-Doctor's diagnostic tests on your machine and Memtest86+ on your memory.

Good Luck!
