Blue screen when installing Turbo Memory Driver

#1 Post by Oren » Sun Apr 13, 2008 10:55 pm

I have installed vista ultimate 64 for the third time and having the same problem.

i have no problems with any of the drivers beside the turbo memory.

when i run "setup" on the driver, i get a blue screen just before the end of the installation.

I re-formated, installed again, this time mamually (From device manager) and again got a blue screen.

On the third time i have installed vista and installed the driver again, got the blue screen but now the system does'nt start up, a "file is missing" error.

Before i re-format the machine again, anyone here installed this driver in vista? (x64)???

Please Help.....

By the way, When it worked, vista recognized only a 512MB partition instead of 1GB..

You're probably not running Windows Vista in AHCI mode:

My new X61s missing a part?.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Issue solved.

The driver from Lenovo did all the problems.

I have downloaded the combined AHCI and Turbo memory driver directly from Intel, fixed it.
