Screen goes into a Macro zoomed in view after sleep

#1 Post by dgriss1 » Tue Apr 15, 2008 9:18 pm

looking for a little help with my X61tablet-2gig ram, centrino pro, etc etc, vista 32

A while ago, my motherboard fried when I was updated bios. Then a week ago the computer just stopped, no power. I called tech services and they told me motherboards were backordered. Two days later I got a call that the tech was ready to come see me and that he had been sent two boards. The tech than proceeded to compare the boards by appearance to decide which one to put in. One was clearly not the same and the other, I guess was?

Ever since the computer is a bit slower and after awakening from sleep it goes into this zoomed in macro view for 45 seconds and then goes back to normal screen. Wierd? What could be causing this? The new motherboard? Bios change? Auto updates of vista?
I could use some help on this one. I dont know jack. Internet also seems to be running slower and every once in a while I will select a program and it appears it will pull it up but it never does, then I do it again and the program comes up.

This computer has needed 2 motherboards, new pen, new screen, new pen holder, and a total of 7 service calls.

BTW, I just ordered a 2 gig ram card to replace one of the 1 gigs in there to try and get this beast going.

help please :D
