remove the fingerprint "account" when log into vis

#1 Post by kharnak » Sun Apr 20, 2008 5:36 am

After I turn on the fingerprints login software provided by lenovo(together with the CSS), each time I log into windows, there is an additional "account" with a red image showing in the login screen.

As I prefer to have only one account image when logging and still want to maintain the function of fingerprint login, I wonder if you guys know any solution.

Thanks

i guess it's just a visual thing, how often do you stare at the log in screen? Oh well, you can click your account to make it take focus and then the other will be relegated to the background. You can still swipe your finger then while it's asking for a password.

You could also turn on POST fingerprint for giving your fingerprint at boot. It automatically passes that fingerprint to Windows.

How to turn on the POST fingerprint?
in BIOS? or somewhere in the software
I've heard of this function, but tried and never succeeded. [/quote]
