NVCACHE partition? Do I have the Turbo Memory option?

I noticed in my Vista Disk Manager that I have a 2nd disk that is FAT32, 512MB in size and it's volume label is NVCACHE. Is this the Intel Turbo memory module? If so, does it offer any benefit or should I disable it?

That is Turbo Memory. If you want to disable it, go to the Intel® Turbo Memory folder in the Start menu to do so. You probably have 512MB being used for Readyboost and 512MB for ReadyDrive. Readyboost is the one using the "NVCache drive."
I'd leave it in place unless you're having some problems. As far as readyboost devices go, nothing you can connect to your laptop is faster than the Intel Turbo Memory. In my tests it has varied from a random read speed of 35,000 to 55,000 KB/sec and a sequential write speed of 12,000 to 13,500 KB/sec.
It might be worth updating the driver, since I think the one Lenovo includes is old:

I also have the NVCACHE Drive and when I start the intel console, I get the Ready Drive activated, but unable to activate the Ready boost ?

Once you enable it, it takes a few reboots before it shows up as enabled.
