I found this at Lenovo website for X61 Tablet:
The following operating systems are supported on the ThinkPad X61 Tablet systems:
* Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit
* Microsoft Windows Vista Business 32-bit and 64-bit
* Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
* Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005
So, this means Vista Ultimate 64 is not supported?

It seems unlikely, but that's something you're best to take up with Lenovo support. I'd appreciate if you post your findings, because I'm about to install Ultimate x64 on my X61s and I also have the atheros card.
I'm curious, have you tried to uninstall the driver from the Device Manager interface, then download/reinstall the driver direct from the Lenovo Driver Support site?

Same problem here on my x61 after I installed Vista 64 Ultimate. Everything works fine, but the Wifi indicator never lights.

Have you installed "Lenovo Interface System Driver" yet?
It is required to get the wifi light works.

"Lenovo Interface System Driver" cannot be found by using system update?
Thanks for the info
