I support about a dozen schools with a variety of wifi networks, proxies, DNS setups and so on, so Access Connections is a great timesaver. However it saves me time no longer, as it won't run. It gets as far as the Access Connections splash then sits there forever. If I shoot it down there are a number of processes with names starting in ac that I have to kill.
Now I know what's caused it not to run. I've just bought a Vodafone USB HSDPA dongle (some of those proxies are just too restrictive).
So any suggestions on how to fix AC, short of uninstalling my wireless gadget? If not, any suggested alternative to AC?
Oh, and despite my .sig I'm now running XP Pro.
