X61T + Turbo Memory Blue Screen !

I recently received an X61t with Windows VISTA Business and Turbo Memory (one of two which I ordered). It was from Lenovo refurbished and had the factory install on the system with all the old drivers.
After 4-5 mins of usage or less the system would always bluescreen with 0000086 errors. Sometimes it would simply bluescreen after clicking on IE. I tried to update the drivers but it would bluescreen every time the drivers tried to update. AHCI is ENABLED in the bios.
I then did a factory re-install. The bluescreen came back right away after the install was complete. I managed to get into the Turbo Memory console and disable both items. After they were both disabled I was able to install the new drivers and everything works fine and has worked fine for the past 3 days!! No BSOD!! Why on earth are these machines allowed to leave Lenovo like this?
Also, is there any reason why I had so many BSOD's? Are there any other drivers I need to install? What else do I need to know about this issue? Is it possible to go into the recovery partition and replace the old Turbo Memory driver that Lenovo has there with the new driver so that next time I need to do a factory re-install I don't have to go through this madness?
