SXGA+ in tablet Vs UXGA font size

#1 Post by Brad » Thu May 01, 2008 5:34 am

I apologize in advance if this has been covered before. I seem to have no success in looking up past threads with the search function. There always seems to be 8000 threads for whatever I look for.

Is the higher resolution tablet 1400 X 1050 normal font size smaller than what the normal font size would be in the 15" UXGA 1600 X 1200 LCD? The information that I am looking for is if the smaller LCD with the higher resolution would look bigger than the larger screen.

I hope I am not confusing anyone because I am now confused. PW where are you?

Thanks in advance.

i'm guessing you need something like this...

:??:

SXGA+ on a 12.1" panel will be approximately 8% smaller than 1600x1200 on a 15.0" panel.
