Which Hitachi Travelstar?

I'm going to upgrade my X61s harddisk to 7200rpm.

I found two types:

HTS722016K9SA00
HTS722016K9SA300

The second one has a 3Gg/s SATA connection. Will this work on my X61s?

Second question, does it make a difference in performance or sound if I get a 120GB or 160GB?

3gb/s will work, but may not be any faster, due to interface limits on the x61s

160 should be a bit faster, due to higher density
