Creaking/clicking noise in X61s when shut

Hi,
I have an x61s and so far I'm very happy with it. However, I noticed that when the lid is shut, and I press down on the right side, it creaks/clicks up and down - ie., I guess the lid doesn't close completely tight... I only notice when I press down on that side, though.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks!

Hmmm... don't know about X61's, but all my Thinkpads (5 of them) have some kind of fit problem here or there. None of my lids shut completely tight on any of them and on a few of them, there is a creak sound on either the left or the right. If I push on any of the lids when the laptop is closed up, either right or left will be sitting higher. No big deal for me.
I've owned and worked on quite a few other laptops... HP, Compaq, Toshiba, Sony, Dell, and I haven't seen a single one that the lid shut exactly right. I think this is quite normal... at least from what I've seen.
Nothing to worry about, me thinks!

I've noticed the clicking sound when pressing on the lower right corner of the laptop when it's closed as well. I think it's because the latch isn't TIGHT and when you press down on the lid, it jiggles the latch switch. Try putting your thumb on the latch switch and pressing down on the lid then....does the noise go away? When I put my finger on the latch switch, the noise goes away when you press on the lid.

No unfortunately that doesn't help for me!
The clicking sound on mine actually does not occur when pressing down on the lower right corner, but actually on the right edge, but probably about 4 inches above the lower edge. I think it just doesn't fit very tightly near where the speaker ends on that side.
