Bluetooth on X61s

I got a new X61s and I'm trying to set a bluetooth connection.

My problem is that although bluetooth connection is on, and the green led at the buttom of the screen is on, there's no bluetooth icon on the taskbar.

Actually, the bluetooth icon apears for a moment, but then it dissapears.

Also, the 'Bluetooth Support Service' is stopped, and when I try to start it I get the message:
'Windows could not start the bluetooth support service on local computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fasion'.

I'm running VISTA with SP1.

Any suggestions?

I found that there was a missing registry key.
