I ordered a X61T on May 22 but as of today--May 26--the expected shipping date shows Aug 14. What gives?

(I posted this message in another place and realized it may not have been in the best location.)

Lenovo's computers have some wierd ways of calculating ship dates... I recently ordered an R61 for a family member and the system showed a ship date over a month out. Few days later a tracking number showed up on the status page.

Their systems are OVER conservative on their ship dates I might say.

Keep checking back to the site and don't be surprised if it ships in 3-5 days.

the X6x shipping thread was the best place..
