EZservice always give me a trouble(X61 tablet)

#1 Post by ronan_zj » Sat May 31, 2008 3:11 am

Man, I just got my laptop back from IBM EZ service, and they do replace my mainboard. However, the break my fan.... Every time when the fan turns on or turns off, I can hear a noise coming out from the fan, like it rubs some stuff or grind.
Even worse, My fan keeping running all the time, and never stop. ( Before I sent for service, the laptop's fan does not keep running all the time).
Although the fan keeping running makes my laptop cool, but the noise is really annoying. So, how about you guys X61 tablet? does your fan keeps running all the time?

Have you updated your BIOS after receiving the tablet from EasyServ?
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Yes, I did update the BIOS to the newest one, and the fan never stops. Even my T60 is much more quiet than my X61t.

You can give Tpfancontrol a try, other than that I would advise on bringing the problem to their attention.
