X61 not charging w/ AC adapter

Last time I inadvertently left my laptop on, and without battery power. The battery ran down, and now this morning it will not charge when I plug the AC adapter in. I've tried with the dock and without, and with the battery and without. I don't have a second power adapter that I can test with. Is there something like a power management unit that I can reset or do I need to find another power adapter to see if the laptop is at fault or the AC adapter? Any ideas? Thanks.

Through ThinkVantage Power Manger you can try resetting your battery.
