What have I done to my X60 screen drivers?

#1 Post by adrianaitken » Mon Aug 04, 2008 3:11 pm

For the last few months my X60 has been driving an external monitor at 1200x1600 in portrait mode (the screen had a VESA connector on the back so I just unscrewed it and rotated it 90 degrees !!!).
I had to set the screen to be rotatted 90 degrees in the Display Adapter properties,Advanced screen.

Decided to go back to a large landscape mode and now I can't set the screen to go back to 1600x1200 unless I have my laptop screen opened. There is no option for the rotate/hotkeys etc. I've redownloaded the drivers from Lenovo and although hkcmd .exe etc is in the startup registry they exit when run (even tried it from the command line).

So, how can I get the extra stuff to appear in the Display Properties,Advanced screen ?

Many thanks in advance !!!

Have you tried the key combination of Ctrl+Alt+↑ ? (or one of the other arrow keys)
