X60 Tablet Screen cracked.

#1 Post by BetterBob » Mon Aug 25, 2008 5:47 pm

I dropped my X60 tablet off of a porch, and the screen now has a crack in it. It still works fine, and the pen still works also.

Does anyone know of a way to "fill in" the cracks, or make them less noticeable?

It's really just a cosmetic problem, but it would be nice if i could make them clear.

Thanks

There's no filling in these cracks, leave them as they are, and start putting money aside for a new LCD.

Good luck.

you still need to differentiate: depending on your machine type you most probably have a two sectioned display- this is not clearly visible within hw-manual. one part of your touch-screen is the so called digitizer protection plate (really expensive) which probably is your problem, the other is the actual lcd underneath the d.p.p ( less expensive)
