Wake up by Removing pen from silo?

Hi everyone, i just got my x61 tablet a couple weeks ago with the 8 cell battery 7200 rpm 100gb HD and I'm quite enjoying it . However, i'm having an issue with waking the laptop from sleep mode by removing the pen from the silo and i have enabled the option. I was wondering if anyone know why this might be happening. and also i was just wondering if it is normal for the tablet hinge to maybe move 2-3 mm when the monitor is pushed left or right because i have heard that it should be super sturdy.

If I understand you correctly, you can't wake from sleep mode at all.

You can only wakeup from sleep mode by removeing the pen from the pen silo if you are in tablet mode.

oh haha thanks...that solved the problem. I didn't know that you had to be tablet mode in order to use that function.
