If you mean the "badge" (or "logo") on the screen cover, then there's no difference with regard to the build and component quality as I know.

Yes. There are 3 screen options for X61T...

- XGA
- XGA Multiview + Multitouch (*not* in the sense of capacitive touch like iPhone)
- SXGA+

I would suggest you to read some of the reviews, see what questions you have, then search for previous discussions here or elsewhere, and come back at last if you have still have things unclear.

Cheers!

if you do not like lenovo, just stay away from any X60/X61 series notepad/tablet.

I suggest that you be less rude if you want people to help you. I didn't see definite bias in his post. It was rude of you to prejudge the quality of his post based on his name, location or nationality. Everybody has bias. Even you seem to have bias against Lenovo.

I did a lot of research into the x61t last month since I also bought one. Lenovo acquired IBM's computing division in 2005. Technically the x60t and x61t are all Lenovo. Even if people refer to it as IBM, it's Lenovo. The x41t was the last tablet designed by IBM.

The IBM badge on the case may just be marketing since IBM is a very well established name. It does seem like it is getting phased out slowly.

Also based on comments from some people on this forum, it seems like the x60t is better for the SXGA+ resolution because it doesn't have the 'sparkly' stuff on the screen.

You should check to make sure the screen, hinge, case and battery are all in good condition if you are buying used.
