How much MAX actual RAM available on X61 for 32-bit Vista?

What is the maximum amount of RAM available for 32-bit Vista? When I look under "My computer" it says 4 GB in use, but we know that isn't true. Does anyone know what the actual amount is? It depends on the design of the hardware. Is it 3 GB or 3.5 GB in the X61(s)? TIA

Could you please run msinfo32.exe and tell me what it says for Total Physical Memory for anyone with 4 GB installed? I'm running WS 2008 32-bit and it says 3.93 GB and Total Installed RAM at 4 GB. TIA

4GB installed here in an X61 7675-CTO, running Vista Business 32, and msinfo32.exe shows Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB, and Total Physical Memory 2.99 GB.
