POWER METER

#1 Post by mjs » Sat Sep 13, 2008 5:39 pm

I'm sure this has been asked before but, I can't figure out how to change the power meter in the task bar to show time remaining instead of percentage remaining when I'm running on battery power... mjs

Thanks BigMacSangwich, I was getting no response from the left click… I closed the large green battery icon in the tray and now I cannot get it back. I have the smaller blue battery icon but I don’t know what happen to the large green one..

Any thoughts, anyone?

You will need to restart to get the big green power meter back. This has been a bug for a long time!

When you unplug you should see time instead of percentage. Not right away but after a minute or two.

If you don't see time after waiting, right click on the big green battery and make sure you have "Remaining time when on battery" selected.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Bananaman, I'll give it a try... I checked "system updates" and didn't see anything there that might correct this. mjs
