x61 numpad

Hi all,

Currently I own a DELL D620 laptop, but want to upgrade to Lenovo x61. Everything seems to be OK, but I have this question about x61's numpad. DELL has a numkeys that are working as numbers when Fn key is held pressed. When it is released these keys work as normal jkluio890 keys.
I am used to it and can't live without it.
How does x61's numkeys work? Will I have to toggle NumLock everytime I want to use numkeys?
