Hello everyone need some advice thanks (my latop is lenovo X61t 7767-01U)

Today I pull my 120GB HD out from my X61Tablet and upgrade a samsung SSD 64GB(lastest one) but I did not see much more
difference between the old HDD driver I boot vista all most same time as the HDD. Comparing my X300 is much faster but the have
same SSD driver only difference is X61t using samsung2.5' SATA SSD other uses 1.8' SATA SSD samsung. :?:

I am thinking is that need update BIOS and SSD firmware????

I did update the nearest BIOS from lenovo but no change, but I cannot find any SSD firmware from samsung??

any ideas? or is that mean x61t is not ready using SSD???

what model samsung do you have?   does it have SLC or MLC memory?

i have the same samsung SSD as found in the X300 and it's plenty fast.   i used to have it in my X61T and now have it in my X61s.   performance was the same on each.

I made mistake

You bought the previous model. Its performance is approx half of the new Samsung model (shipping in X300, X200 and X301).

Well, now that that's settled...does your username perchance refer to an R129 SL600? Because those are killer cool.

I mean, any SL600 is killer cool, but I especially like the R129.
