FN + F5, FN +F12 no longer work

So last night, I decided what the hey, lets update all the power management stuff...

Since you know power management is pretty important and maybe the new software is more efficient some how.

So i updated my interface driver, power management driver, and power manager along with the bios.

I then tried to put my computer into hibernation via the FN +F12 key and it didn't work...

Turns out after a disk clean up the hibernation disappeared .... so i did a command line entry and turned it back on.

So i am like wth... all the other buttons work, like volume, display brightness, etc... so i go and try out the new hotkey driver.... same thing...

Anyone know how to fix this?

I searched a little and it seems like it could be the new power manager or i have to uninstall all the drivers and install them in a specific order....

i am thinking of just leaving it be...since i am just getting frustrated with my lenovo experience.

I have a X61t btw.

Not all the drivers! UnInstall/Reinstall the following:
1) HotKey driver (Fn-F5)
2) Power Manager + Power Manager Driver
3) Access Connections (including Profiles)
4) WiFi Drivers

Good luck!

I have decided i am going to film myself smashing this POS tablet when i get a new laptop....

I don't think i will be fixing the hotkey thing...

I shouldn't have to fix it in the first place.

Ever since lenovo took over.... i haven't seen quality in anything.

my bezel peels, my LCD display sits crooked. I sent it in to get it all fixed and they scratch up the laptop, replaced keyboard second day of use. Pen Calibration sucks...etc...bezel still peeling, hdd controller crap...

list of problems....

I'll just hibernate thru windows from now on.

No more lenovo/thinkpad for awhile after this tablet.

Speaking of Lenovo, i would short sell them hopefully into oblivion.

now to persuade my college to drop the contract with lenovo. The law school switched from thinkpads to dell and then back to thinkpads for some reason.....
