The 4965AGN is not on the whitlelist in the BIOS of your X60T, so it will cause a boot time error message to display which cannot be bypassed.Alexiskass wrote:is it possible to change the intel 3945abg with an intel 4965n on my x60t?

Take a look in the T6x forum for a long thread about ways that you might be able to get around this with a modified BIOS.
If your X60T does not have a third antenna for 802.11n operation you will need to fit one.
I'm running a 4965AGN in a T60 using a modified BIOS, so that approach does work.

is it possible?Another safer method: You can plug the wireless card into the spare WWAN slot (the second miniPCI slot) with pin-20 taped over. It has been tested on a Thinkpad X61s and a non-IBM (unauthorized) Intel Wifi link 4965agn card, originally it gave a 1802 error, but using this trick it boots up and works without any apparent problem-- it essentially hides the card from the test in the bios, but the WWAN slot still gives the card access to the proper PCI bus, with no need to modify the computer or card.
