Firstly, a 5350 will probably throw an 1802 or similar device error from the BIOS in an X61, so at a minimum you will need a Zender modified BIOS.grantch wrote:shall use X200 intel wifi link 5350 to replace my intel 4965ABG card
Secondly, unless you have an access point that supports tripple channel operation in the 5Ghz 802.11n band or you have ISP delivering WiMax connectivity in the 2.5Ghz band, you will probably not get any benefit out of replacing a 4965 with a 5350.
