X61T SXGA+ Screen Protector

#1 Post by sdrev » Thu Nov 13, 2008 6:34 pm

I'm looking for a screen protector for my X61 Tablet. I have the hi-res 1400x1050 SXGA+ screen. I've searched the forums and all the postings concerning screen protectors involve the multi-view/multi-touch screens, which I don't have. So I was wondering if anyone has experience with using a screen protector on the SXGA+ screen.

I was considering an invisibleSHIELD by Zagg ( http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/len ... hields.php ), but the product says it can't be applied to 'soft LCD screens'. If pressed, I'd consider the SXGA+ a soft LCD screen, but I'm not sure what they qualify as a 'soft LCD screen'.

So if anyone can recommend a good protective shield that they've used themselves, that'd be great. Thanks in advance for you help.

What criteria are you using to determine softness? One thing I like about the tablet screen is that you can poke it without getting ripples. I think that counts as a "hard" screen, but then again I've never heard that terminology used to describe LCD screens, so I could be wrong.

I use Strong and am satisfied. But I got it when it was cheaper then.
