X61 Predesktop Area backup

I want to make a backup of the predesktop area on my X61 containing Vista installation and etc.
For doing that, I tried an IBM whitepaper on HPA wich is located here: ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/ac ... a_aibm.pdf
But I couldn't do it, I don't have options described in the document!
1) I couldn't set Predesktop Area Access to Normal - there's no such an option in BIOS - where is it?
2) I couldn't run command promt - there's no such options described in manual - "Press IBM Button, Double-click the Recover to Factory Contents icon, The Recovery Menu is displayed, press F3" - where can I find this F3 option?
Please, help!
Thank you!
