New Battery Gauge and Access Connections: I hate them

#1 Post by iamdmc » Tue Nov 18, 2008 11:41 pm

Did anyone install the new battery gauge and access connections from Lenovo? They're very shiny and all that, but I'm looking for some of the functionality of the old versions that the new versions are missing!!! Worse yet, they take longer to load and seem to not be doing anything new.

Does anyone else have an opinion on these wonder-programs?

Can anyone link to an old version of each program?

Thanks

Is this the one with the Vista-looking interface? Is it for Vista only or XP as well?

I noticed that I can't access the option to display power usage on the battery gauge anymore. At least I can't find the option, maybe it's still there somewhere. It was nice information for me to know..
