Hi all,
I decided to replace my 100GB hard disk with a new Seagate 320GB. I downloaded Acronis True Image home 2009, plugged in the new drive via USB, and started cloning. So far, so good.
But for the last day, the cloning process has stopped at 10% overall. Nothing is happening. I'm not sure what to do now. Can I reboot the computer and unplug the USB hard disk without doing any damage to either the old HDD or the new one? I need to access my info and I didn't think the process would have dragged on so long...
Also, did I do something wrong with the cloning process? Why on earth did it freeze during cloning?
Any help on this would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks!
