Forgot To Make X61T Vista Recovery Discs When Downgrading

Boy am I in trouble. I JUST purchased a brand new shiny X61 Tablet with Vista Business installed. I was quick to downgrade to XP but forgot to make Vista Recovery Discs FIRST like I did on my X61.
XP is already installed. I do have my X61 Vista Discs. Am I stuck here? I'd be missing everything essential to the X61 Tablet. Could I copy my Vista discs that I used with the X61 should I want to reinstall vista? Would I then just have to download drivers and X61 related stuff?
Thanks In Advance For Your Help

If the recovery partition is still Vista run a recovery, prepare your recovery media then downgrade again.
If not your X61 Vista disks will work.

I haven't checked.

I haven't checked. The reason I ask is that when repreparing my X61 for sale, I attempted to reinstall vista by pressing the Thinkvantage Button at start up. That promted an XP reinstall. Luckily I had made Vista Recovery discs and was able to load that so I could sell the machine as a Vista Item.
With the X61 TABLET; if I use the SAME Vista install discs I used with the Regular X61, what would I be in for? Would I have to install additional drivers from Lenovo. Some here says the Vista comes STOCK with Tablet functionality. Is that true?
Thanks Again.

Your Vista media will work. The tablet functionality is built in.

Hi,
Vista Business has the Tablet apps/support so that part is true however you'll need couple more items for the X61 tablet to work using a non tablet X61 vista CD.
You will need couple of more items
1) the tablet button driver off lenovo's site
2) tablet drivers from wacom site
That is it along with using a Tablet Key for Vista instead of a non tablet Key.
